Xiaomi is planning to launch its 14-series in a special event ahead of Singles’ Day in 2023
Xiaomi will introduce its new flagship Android phones, the Pro and vanilla versions earlier than before. According to a famous leak, the 14-series is expected to be released in 2023. With such a short timeframe, they could easily beat out other devices like the OnePlus 12 and Samsung Galaxy S24 as well as the Vivo X100 in being the first device to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
This means Xiaomi can mirror this behavior by launching the 14-series at a time that is very convenient.
Xiaomi 13 & 13 Pro Launching
As you know, Xiaomi is gearing up for the rapid launch of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro in China. These smartphones will come equipped with the latest-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which significantly elevates mobile performance to a high level. This means Xiaomi can mirror this behavior by launching the 14-series at a time that is very convenient.
Xiaomi 14 Expected Announcement
According to the tip, Xiaomi plans on launching the Xiaomi 14 line before the 11.11 Sales Event (also known as Single’s Day). Single Day, also known as Single’s Day, is an unofficial Chinese holiday that is observed on 11th November every year.
Expected Specifications
The handset could also have up to 1TB of internal storage. According to the previous leak, it is expected that this device will have a 4,860mAh battery which will support wired charging up to 90W and wireless charging of 50W. On the other hand, it is possible that the Pro version will be fitted with a battery of 5,000mAh. The device is likely to support 120W and 50W wired charging. Along with the Xiaomi 14 line, Xiaomi will also launch Xiaomi Watch S3. The upcoming smartwatch will likely feature an OLED screen and may also offer 4G connectivity. According to rumors, the smartwatch will have a battery capacity of 520mAh and could include features for monitoring health such as SpO2 and heart rate.
Xiaomi’s Early Announcement of the 14 Series
Another reason that the Xiaomi 14 Series was announced early could have been due to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset, which is expected will launch on 24 October. Xiaomi is expected to be the first company in the world that use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for its Xiaomi 14 Series. The Xiaomi 15 is likely to have a primary 50MP camera. A telephoto sensor may be used with the 50MP primary camera.
Xiaomi Watch S3 will be the successor of Xiaomi Watch S2, launched in China in December 2017. The Xiaomi Watch S2 is available in both 42mm and 46mm versions. Both models have a display of 1.43 inches with an AMOLED screen with 466×466 resolution. These models are both capable of tracking over 100 sports modes and have connectivity options such as Bluetooth V5.2, GPS, and Glonass. They also feature Beidou and Galileo.
